Facilities Services acts as a steward of our buildings and landscapes, creating and sustaining a beautiful and functional campus environment. There are more than 750 campus employees who work within Capital Projects, Physical Plant-Campus Services, and Real Estate Services.

Environmental Health & Safety provides guidance and services to the campus community that promote health, safety, and environmental stewardship. These programs ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensure a safe workplace for the UC Berkeley community. Our dedicated staff has expertise in emergency response, environmental protection, fire prevention, hazardous materials, radiation safety, and health & safety.
